Cancellation policies and refund rules for photo studios

even when plans change.
Configure refund percentages by time before the session, customer cancellation and expiry of unpaid bookings. Put your studio’s cancellation policy into the booking and payment workflow.
Give the team a consistent way to handle cancellations. Define refund tiers and show customers an estimate before they cancel. Automatic refunds and the expiry of unpaid reservations have separate controls, so you choose which steps to automate.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED.
A few things
to know before you start.
Can I define a free-cancellation deadline?
Yes. For example, set a 100% refund of the amount paid until 72 hours before the session. Rules use time before the appointment and a refund percentage, calculated against actual payments received.
Does cancellation always trigger an automatic refund?
Only when automatic refunds are enabled. The system requests the applicable refund through Stripe. Inconsistent payment records or another pending refund require review. Refund estimates remain available when automatic refunds are disabled.
Will a booking expire if the payment message never arrived?
Known delivery failures and unresolved payment states are not treated as ordinary unpaid bookings. The automation checks delivery and payment conditions before expiring eligible reservations.
