Steve vom Wege brings 13 years as an entrepreneur and 10 years as an interim manager. His work includes ecommerce and digital projects for heise.de, Wempe, Paul Hewitt, Brogle and Deutsche Bahn, from development-team leadership and strategy to hands-on programming.

The founder behind AnimStream, Sendmesafe and legal technology solution versteckmich.de is bringing business management, AI, automation, marketing and SEO together in Tsumira. His goal: a technology group dedicated to Japanese businesses, starting with customer acquisition and operations for photo studios.

A few things you might be wondering.

Is the pilot really free?

Platform access is expected to be free through June 2027, including onboarding and setup support. External expenses such as Stripe processing fees and domain names are separate. We’ll announce the end date and future pricing in advance, and won’t charge you automatically.

Do I need technical experience?

No. Setup support is included to help you prepare your studio details, session plans and website. A local contact in Japan and Japanese-language support are available.

Can I keep my current website and domain?

We can help you plan a custom domain connection or website migration. URLs, redirects and the publishing sequence need to be reviewed to protect search visibility. The steps depend on your existing setup.

Can I welcome customers from overseas?

Studio websites support multilingual content including Japanese, English, simplified and traditional Chinese, and Korean. You can prepare session information, online bookings and payment for international customers. Review translations before publishing.

How do payments reach my studio?

Each studio connects its own Stripe account. Stripe’s eligibility, verification and processing fees apply. Set your deposit and cancellation rules to match the way your studio works.

Can other studios see my customer information?

The platform is designed around separated studio data and operating environments. Customers, bookings, payment configuration and photographs are managed per studio. Any support access follows the applicable permissions and operating procedures.

Is this an early release?

Yes. The Founders Pilot Release is an evolving product built with working studios. Features can change and maintenance may be necessary. Feedback reaches the development team directly; individual requests and timelines aren’t guaranteed.
